Balanga City, under the leadership of Mayor Francis Garcia, has been named as one of the top five finalists in the City Level 3 category for the prestigious 2024 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit (LGU) Awards.
The announcement, made by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), recognizes Balanga’s efforts in fostering an environment conducive to business growth and economic development.
Balanga City has gained attention for its innovative initiatives and strategic programs aimed at promoting local business activities and sustaining long-term economic progress. Joining Balanga City in the finalist list are Cauayan City, the Island Garden City of Samal, San Fernando in La Union, and Tuguegarao City. The PCCI will announce the winners during its annual conference, where the selected LGU will be recognized for its exemplary performance in driving economic growth and promoting a business-friendly environment.
